Where have you been all my life? I just came across the Lefty Kreh Leader Knot and I’m amazed at how easy it is to tie it. I am hoping it’s the real deal in terms of strength and durability. I used to use the Crazy Alberto Knot, but I just cant do it any longer. Im too old and impatient. Do you have a go to knot? What is it?
I use mono exclusively. Knots I use the most are the improved clinch and the palomar. Of course, I use other specialty knots when needed (surgeon’s knot, etc) . I like this Lefy Kreh knot because it is simple, I can do it with my “aged” fingers/joints, and I think I might even remember how to tie it when the need arises.
Improved clinch is my go to for everything. The crazy Alberto was my knot for a leader up until this. The Alberto is just too much for me now that I’m old lol.
