    Need help finding a part!

Got a new boat a few weeks ago (some of you might've seen the thread) and it has been sitting in a shop building for the past 25 or so years. The motor on the back is an old Merc 110 (9.8hp) and is in pretty nice condition so i want to use it this year or until i can find a console steer 25. I...

Paint for Trailer: Layer 2 Electric Booglo

I used a foam roller for 99% of my boat and trailer. After i got a base coat down i went behind it and touched up small areas with a brush. Then i did a second coat the same way... that type of paint flattens out nicely so anyway you apply it shouldn't be much of a problem.

    Wicked Tuna

Not a bad show but the Top 2 on my list right now is 1. Duck Dynasty 2. Major League Fishing (comes on the Outdoor Channel on Fridays and is AWESOME tournament fishing... KVD is crushing it right now!)

    It's here

Very nice gun! I have a stainless one with a 3 inch barrel...2.5" shells. Its alot more accrate than people give it credit for. The self defense round with the shot and 3 copper discs is actually pretty amazing. At least 2 of the discs would hit a 1x2 foot box from 20-30 steps. I really like...

Implement Paint and Hardener - Longevity & Durability?

I used Ford Blue on my boat with hardener and Gloss Black on my trailer without hardener... Self etching primer on the boat and oil based primer on the trailer and here is my opinion. USE THE HARDENER!!! My trailer still looks in decent condition but I really haven't abused it but i know it...

WooHoo New boat to play with!

First off HAPPY EASTER everybody! The other day my fiance and I were talking and she mentioned that her grandpa told her that he had an old boat in his shop and if I wanted it I could take it. He didn't tell her anything about it so I was a little reluctant and didn't get my hopes up because I...

    console steer upgrade possible?

Alright guys here we go... last sunday my fiance's grandpa gave me his old Fisher Marine boat for free because he heard that i like to mess around with boats (first time this hobby has EVER saved me money!). The boat is rated up to a 25hp but right now it has an old merc 110 (9.8hp) in prestine...

Anyone make thir own wood crankbaits?

before you paint you might want to seal the wood and then run them in water (bathtub, pool, small pond, etc...) to see how they act. You might need to add weight in places to keep it balanced and it would suck to have to drill thru a nice new paint job!
