Looking for a seat base that post doesn't stick in very far I have a flat floor with aluminum on top of the ribs and maybe a inch and a half of Clearance any suggestions on what will work Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I thought about removing it because the bench is so wide it's hard to reach the tiller handle but I think I might try to add a tiller extinction

My back bench has 2 pods that are connected on top and front I'm wondering if I cut them apart if I will have problems with the strength of the boat
