Last time I went a couple of years ago it's was definately lacking fishing stuff but I did get some great socks.
Not sure if I'll go this year. Not paranoid but trying to avoid really large crouds.
If you look at the Tracker Grizzly website and look at the 1860 Jon boat you will see they have an option to add a console.

I have been looking for years for an affordable fiberglass console and there's nothing available.
Flat water = Sit it
Ocean = SOT
I have sit in's and I love them.
One's a Pungo and the other's a Wilderness System Native 14. The Pungo is fast and sleek the Native is like a tug boat.
I have two auto bilge pumps on my boat hooked up to seperate batteries. I have one mounted just a bit higher than the other one.
I do a spring and fall lake trip and the boat sometimes is uncovered for a week. One year I fished one year where we had on and off torential rains. One pump handled...
I use the velcro ones. I think they last a bit longer then the bungee's.

I may be going out on a limb here....but....I think you can trust the accuracy on a Garmin GPS. Get one that takes a map card in the area(s) you will be fishing and you will be amazed.
Happy fishing.
FYI....I purchased a Cabelas hatch and it was half the price of FOF. They are made by R&R and are really nice.
Be careful how much foam you remove. You may need it some day.
