when measuring the width of a boat for stability do i measure from the top or bottom of the transom?

From what the engineers tell me its 100% plastic. Not sure on cost yet but they said it shouldn't be that expensive. I guess it is light too. When I find more out next week I will let everyone know.

I am planning (at least right now) on using delrin for my decks (when I get my boat in a few weeks). From talking to some engineers at work it is lighter than plywood and can be drilled unlike lexan. If I get the supports right it should not be soft either. Did I mention that I won't have to...

I found an ad for a Grumman 14' FSHRMN. Does anyone know if it is a Jon boat or V-Hull? I cannot seem to find anything on it. I cannot call them until I get out of work. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I really am not aware of any lakes in my area that are restricted to electric only. I plan on put an outboard on it if the boat I find does not come with one.

Thanks for the link. I will mostly be bass fishing on lakes smaller than 5000 acres and some river fishing but not a whole lot. I also won't be heading out on Lake Michigan or anything that large in this.
