Thanks. At the moment the wood on the transom has been removed. I'll be replacing it later today. I was hopeful I'd find some type of identifier behind it, but wasn't quite so lucky. I'm thinking it will be best to add a treated board to the Inside on the transom instead of the outside like it...

The boat I'm hoping to identify that I purchased last week looks very similar to the 69' Mears that Bass Fisherman posted a pic of in 2010. Is anyone familiar with Mears boats? I'm having difficulty finding any information.

Hello all. I've enjoyed reading over the forum for the last couple of days. I bought a tin boat a few days ago and need help identifying it. I can't find any ID marks on the boat. It is 13' 9" long and 55" wide beam (44" at the transom). Any help will be greatly appreciated.
