Sweet, the guy who owned the boat before used jb weld but it doesnt look too good, I know jbweld has a tendency to crack though.

Does anybody know how to take the lower unit off of a 25hp merc 2stroke?, I am trying to do the Bay long shaft conversion kit but cant figure out how to diconnect the shift linkage without tearing apart the whole engine.

oh beleive me , this boat doesnt just have small ones! It had a jet outboard on it and you can tell it has had its fair share of shallow running.

I hate to ask, but what did all that sheet metal set you back? Is the price of aluminum as outrageous as it is for steel?

Yeah I think it will be best to buy one of those motor shaft conversion kits. I was thinking of making a bracket to lower the motor but now am doubting that because my motor would be almost sitting in the water.

Hey guys, I was wondering how to wire two batteries together but keep it a 12 volt system? Also once this is done do I have to wire my on-board charger to both of the batteries or just one?
