    Running Wires

Good thoughts. I'd imagine coating with liquid electrical tape would work as well?

    Running Wires

Anyone see any problems with running the wires up the center of the boat under the decked floor? Is it ok just to tie them together and leave them laying on the aluminum floor?

    Main Fuse Size

Could be 16, I'll have to look at it more closely.

    Main Fuse Size

Thats a good question. I'm not sure on what size wire to use. The wire coming off the switch plate looks to be 14. The run from the battery to the switch plate won't be more than a couple of feet.

    Main Fuse Size

What size fuse do you recommend between your main battery and switch panel? Switch panel is wired into a fusebox, but manufacturer still recommends wiring it this way. Thoughts?

    Hide Wires

What is the best way you've found to run wire throughout the boat? I've got it down to the framing now and I'm obviously going to prewire before I drop the floor in. I have two fish finders, a livewell/aerator, bilge pump, Nav lights, and interior lights that will all connect to a fuse box and...

    Marine Grade Plywood

I plan on getting some AB Marine Grade Plywood from Menards. I have my boat framed with cedar 2x2's as pictured.

    Marine Grade Plywood

I'm re-doing the floor on my boat. I've been pricing out marine grade plywood. The price of 1/2" is obviously much cheaper than 3/4". My question is, is 3/4" necessary?

    2x2 baluster

I purchased a bunch of 2x2 Balusters to frame some compartments and storage. I'm having problems with the wood splitting with 2" deck screws. What is the best way to attach them? I'm imagining I may need to pre-drill? Any advice would be appreciated.

    Circuit Bar Question

Rewiring my boat and I have a question. I'm going to install a Blue Sea Systems Circuit Bar, but I also want to install switches for my electronics (Sonar/GPS, Interior lights, bilge, aerator, Nav Lights). Most switch panels have fuses too. I'm assuming I don't need both to have fuses...
