Thanks guys, I am not worried about the grease at the top. There is a plastic ring that is broken in half at the bottom and I can wiggle the motor around and the shaft wiggled inside as well. I'm running a 50:1 mixture and haven't had any issues but I will change things up just to be safe...

Yes I think it is the bracket and shaft. I attached a picture of the shaft so hopefully this will help.

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I have a 1954 evinrude super fastwin, and the seals for the main shaft that the motor pivots on went bad. Does anyone know where I could find replacement seals, or what that shaft would be called?
