    Viewing Pictures?

I have been away a little while as work and life have gotten in the way, but I am trying to view some mod threads. The pictures are not showing up. I tried chrome thinking explorer was messing up but same thing. Now I am seeing an attachment but there is no picture, and in one thread people are...

    Corky's

Corkys do have a big following in TX, I just picked them up this winter and have fished them 3-4 trips and I can see why they have the following. My go to color is pink, but also use tex chicken.

    Corky's

I have had great luck with Corky's in the winter; Worked very slow - give a few (1-2) twitches and let sink again a few seconds - reel in slack. Try a Corky Devil too..I may be doing something wrong though because it seems like I catch more reds on a corky and more trout on a devil.

Bitin' the bullet on a Baitcaster

I realize I've said quit a bit on this thread already, sorry. I will say I think Lew's makes an awesome reel. and am planning to buy the tournament pro soon. My buddy fishes the $89 one (can't remember model) and it is a great reel. The only think I don't know is the longevity...But I have heard...

Bitin' the bullet on a Baitcaster

I would second the citica, It is a pretty solid reel and you should be able to find some deals on the old model - 200e (I wouldn't buy a new model). I'm pretty hard on it and it keeps on going. I don't know if you could be in a combo with a citica for under $100 though. But could be worth it, my...

Bitin' the bullet on a Baitcaster

Although I have not fished that rod or reel, I remember speaking with the owner of Tackle Hut here in Houston and he spoke highly of the Caenan. Said it was about the best bang for buck reel out there. I have handled it a couple times in the store and it seems like a great reel too. Hope this helps.

    Best Fishing Magazine??

I enjoy field and stream, don't have a subscription but I do buy a few a year. They have good gear reviews and good articles for the outdoors in general. It is a good mix between hunt and fish - I think someone who only fishes would still enjoy it..

    Who has the coolest toys?

Cool topic, its awesome to see what everyone else is into...some sweet rides on here for sure. Here are my water toys, they may not be the fastest out there but they can fly pretty high compared to the big three seaters that are so popular. The kawasaki is stock at this time, we had the head...
