Drivers side is how the instructions say to mount them. The passenger side a way that makes them a little taller. Opinions on what way you would go with.

Shallow water anchor, mud anchor etc dirt cheap right now

I love my 12' and 6' shallow water anchor. They work extremely well. Farmtek clearing out inventory on 3/4" x12' fiberglass tree stakes for $6 each. They are all ready sharpened at one end. I drilled a 3/8" hole in the top then incerted a 3/8"x6" solid aluminum rod. This make a decent handle...

    Torsion axles?

The torsion does NOT run all the way through the tube. The ones I have modified have been 12" or so into the tube. A little heads up, the tube is bent to give a a little camber to the wheels so keep that in mind when you weld it back together. They also sell these in the lighter weight axle...

    PVC Boards

Royal pvc boards are cellular pvc and are very flexable. In the hot summer days they will bow. If you mounted them on top of your existing bunk boards you would be good to goo. Azek brand cellular pvc is a little slipperier than royal. Cole
