    New front deck

Tunnels, basically I have an anchor on the front and one on the back- both river style anchors (I think thats what they're called) both have "rope locks" mounted at both ends of the boat, which makes it a hell of alot easier when pulling in anchor rope and looping it. I fish alot of local...

    New front deck

Hit on the link below and go to the middle of the page and hit the "slideshow pic" for transformation! These were taken last summer before I added the front seat/deck this week. A lotta sweat! But alot of fun! D. 8) https://photobucket.com/Delmonte67

    New front deck

Yea those offset seat pedestals are nice. I spent 250 on my new 55lb. minn kota last fall, so it will be awhile- probably next boat, before I splurge on the foot pedal model. As for the width I think around 58 inches, its a pretty wide semi-v compared to some I've seen. The stability is fine as...

    New front deck

Oh man Russ, what a big difference! When I modded her last year, I just put in a rear and middle seat. It worked fine, but you had to watch your buddies casting and your own! Now theres a ton of room. My $500.00 investment was so worth it last summer -and finding this website! D. 8)

    New front deck

I redid my front deck this week - and man what a difference! All I had up front was a small bench as you can see in the very bottom small photo when I modded her last summer, the first 2 is how I found her, she was an empty shell with a strong running 5 1/2 hp Johnson Seahorse- that boat has...

    1974 Mirrocraft 14 V-hull

Looks good! I still have'nt had time to do my front deck/seat yet, The fiance kept me busy running the last couple weekends-maybe I'll work on it this weekend? Did you just bolt the plate to the wood and aluminum or did you have extra wood bracing underneath? If it holds tight with no...

Best way to secure deck framework to bottom of boat?

Hey fellas, need some advice on securing framework to the "ribs" on the bottom of boat. I'm putting a deck up front with a post/seat and I need the framework to be secure/strong and attached tight to the bottom. Below are pics of the floor before my mod. Any ideas would be great! Thanks Del 8)

    1974 Mirrocraft 14 V-hull

Nice setup! I am building a front deck in my v- hull with the exact postplate, and I just stole your idea for my framework  Have you checked how it holds weight? I don't want any twisting or movement for that front seat at all, thats kinda why I did'nt want to use wood for the...

installing pedestal seat mounts in a G3 1448lw

I used 6 large toggle bolts that self tightened underneath and they have remained super tight. I'm 6' and weigh 285 and these have never moved a millimeter, and I always use my posts to sit up. The pic of my boat is a little blurry, but you can see where I drilled the holes out for the middle...

    Hammered Look Paint

I used "hammered black" on my trailer, It was an old crappy looking trailer when I bought it. I sanded a ton of rust off and got it smooth, the hammered black just looked best for me- it came out real nice-3 coats. As far as the inside of your boat, just experiment and spray an area to see if...
