The guy I get parts from sold a bunch of poly liners then all of a sudden he couldn't get anymore. My buddy actually bought the last one he had. He said they would last 2 or 3 times longer than the aluminum ones in the sandy rivers that we run.

Love the new look for jet section. Anyone know where you can still get the poly liners for the outboard jets? The guy I usually get parts from said he can't find them anymore. Also wondering the pros and con's with both.

looks like you're starting from a good base. I always get some POS to try to turn into a nice boat.

those are awesome Mac! and the price really doesn't sound that bad.did you have to do the measuring and design them yourself, or could you tell them what it will fit on and they can design some for you?

I second the beaver tail pods. The cheapest place that I could find them was at the walmart website. I just don't know if it will match the exact angle on the sides on your boat.

thanks for the input guys! Top end really doesn't bother me but I definitely want to get out of the hole as fast as I can.I just didn't want to install them and find out that my motor starts cavitating around corners or something. Any more thoughts or experience is surly welcomed. Thanks again.

I have recently bought an alweld 1856 with a 120 merc force on it. I was wondering since the motor is set height wise to the boat if adding pods to the back would mess with the intake of the jet? Would I have to re adjust the height after the installation? Would pods help with the holeshot a lot...
