2015 Tracker Grizzly 1448 MVX For Sale

Guys, I've got a Tracker Grizzly 1448 MVX that I bought last winter and spent the spring and early part of the summer setting up for fishing. Well about the time I got her all finished, I was given a promotion at work which led to many more overtime hours and honestly I've also experienced a...

    Dialing - in new boat/motor

If we have the same motor, I'd say your overpitched. My guess is a 10 1/8 x 12 pitch stainless or maybe even an 11 pitch aluminum would raise your rpms where they should be and get you on plane quicker. I'm sure your 1648 is heavier than my 1448 and the 13p was just too much pitch. Sent from...

    Stern lifting prop on 14' Alumacraft V w 30 E-tec?

That's a mini manual jackplate made by Bob's Machine Shop. It was right around $200 if I remember correctly. The company is based in tampa, but I got mine from a boat dealer in Orlando. I should add that they have two sizes depending on the width of you engine bracket and I went this route...

    Help..

Can you explain why the trailer being wider than necessary would be a safety issue? If anything, I would think it should track better than a narrower one... 2015 Tracker Grizzly 1448 MVX 1996 Evinrude 25hp 3 cylinder looper

    Help..

When I bought my Grizzly 1448, I went to bass pro to look at how Tracker was mounting motors on the Grizzly hulls, (I bought my hull and motor seperately), and this is exactly how they do it. Then again, they recommended a 20" shaft motor on my hull with a 17" transom and when I called to ask...

    New here .

Welcome to the forum. Lots of info to be found here...what lakes do you typically fish around webster? I'm getting tired of driving an hour and a half to the ICW to fish in pea soup and the lakes near me, (Toho and the Kissimmee chain), are full of idiots that feel the need to go everywhere at...

Front or rear mount trolling motor

We mount outboards on the stern because if it was on the bow the boat would never get on plane. I'm not sure a boat with a heavy, powerful outboard mounted on the bow would do anything but drive itself down in the water and sink. At the very least, you would have a hard time seeing where you're...

    To much deadrise?

Diameter and pitch being the same or close to, you will see a slight decrease in speed going from 3 blade to 4 blade. You may notice it'll be smoother and may give you more stern lift/plane quicker. 2015 Tracker Grizzly 1448 MVX 1996 Evinrude 25hp 3 cylinder looper

    Stern lifting prop on 14' Alumacraft V w 30 E-tec?

They look a little funny back there, but they made a huge difference in time to plane and my tilt setting went from the second pin up to the fourth pin. Besides, I can't see em from where I'm sitting in the boat anyway...ha ha. 2015 Tracker Grizzly 1448 MVX 1996 Evinrude 25hp 3 cylinder looper

    Stern lifting prop on 14' Alumacraft V w 30 E-tec?

I personally found that just going from aluminum to same pitch stainless is going to increase rpms. I think you can go from aluminum to same pitch 4 blade stainless and probably keep your rpms about where they are now. THIS IS MY OPINION AND I CANNOT GUARANTEE THIS. That being said...if it were...

    To much deadrise?

^^^^^^ This is what I was thinking, but was waiting to see if someone else said it first. I find it really hard to believe that a 9.9 would push a 12' boat "well over 20 mph" as stated. 12 to 15 maybe... Also the headliner on the video you posted claimed it was a 9.9 converted to a 15... 2015...

    Dialing - in new boat/motor

In the factory service manual it says the wot range is 5500-5800. With the 12p prop it runs up around 5850 to 5870 depending on load, wind, chop, etc. I let my own OCD cause me to buy the 13p to try to lower the rpms, thinking the 50-70 rpms over may damage the powerhead. I also didn't...
