I have thought about moving my outboard a few inches port-side to help level the boat out more when I'm sitting at the tiller. Has anyone ever done that?

I'm trying to find one to buy, and just wondering what the reasonable price would be for one in good condition?

How do you mount things to the aluminum, such as a seat base? The two options that come to mind is screwing directly into the aluminum or using toggle bolt/nut that is usually used for anchoring things in drywall.

I was actually thinking something similar; Take aluminum strips and epoxy them to the four or so protruding keels that run down the flat bottom. It would really on need to be four feet in length or so and only near the front part of the hill where the contact is usually made.
