Did you decide which motor to get? If not, you will be happy with the new Suzuki. I just came back from a mini vacation and ran 3 tanks of gas through mine. That is alot of boat riding! This thing performed flawlessly! The more I run it, the more I like it!

The Suzuki motor will serve you well with what you are wanting. Actually, here where I'm from the Yamaha is few hundred cheaper.

Welcome to the forum. You can find out lots of great info on here. Wow! That could have been very bad! When the dealership installed the motor they should have drilled and bolted the motor on. Look on the outside of the boat where the motor is tightened down, there are some holes in the motor...
