This doesn't make sense. On a 14' boat the weight of those batteries would mean you could only fish with two guys. Why would you need three trollers? You should keep two of the batteries (one for the troller, one for everything else), a good 12V trolling , and get a gas outboard. Everything...

I agree, that sounds like a good deal but excessive corrosion in boat could mean you eventually are buying a trolling motor seats and trailer for 5 bills. You should check it out in person if it is close though.

try craigslist. If you can find one with everything newer (motor, tires, battery... no holes or leaks) for under $1,000 that would be a good deal. The costs of fixing a cheaper one up to mint are usually more than getting a nicer one to start out with.

i have a 12 ft v-hull with a 6hp engine (42" beam) and it has trouble planing so I would say get an 8-10 hp so you can easily plane. It looks you are decently small though so a 5-6 may work for you as well as long as you don't add too much weight. (I am 245 lbs)
