This last weedend my motor would start unless I pushed the "primer button" on the start/shift control, then it would star and run as long as the button was held in. It had run fine the last time out. Any help will be appreciated thanks.

I have a mercury 40, Serial # 2600720, 4hp. I am not sure what I need to be doing for maintenance, I do not have an owners manual. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

You mean to charge your 12V battery? So they must make some attachment that plugs in and you can distribute power from there. Any one have any pictures of this in action.

This is of the covering and is on the right side of the motor, you can see the gear shifter. Under the covering is the 2 prongs.

Not sure but the model # is B100S - 1502465.

I am wondering what the male plug on the right side of the motor is for. There are 2 spades perpendicular to each other. i am also new to the group and am looking forward to learning all I can. Idahopanfish Keep looking to the East He will be coming in the clouds.
