Hmm, I actually didn't think of that since I couldn't tell that is how it was attached to the eye... I will try to unscrew it. That bolt is pretty well rusted so I'm not too confident I will have luck but will give it a shot.

The bolt on the bow eye on my Starcraft is broken and I want to replace it with a similar style one if possible. In searching online it seems I could be out of luck. Any suggestions where I could find one that's similar to the original? The bolt on the eye is all built into it and is 3/8" diameter.

I like this approach. I could just make some kind of bracket that the separator slides into. The bracket can be permanently mounted on the inside of the transom. Thanks.
