The heck with it, I'll just wire everything separately on on/off toggle switches.

Well now I feel like an idiot, the switch I have is a momentary switch which means it returns to the center OFF from both ON positions (Top-Bottom) when handle is released. I'm guessing this isn't going to work for me is it?

like this? Are there 2 jumper wires that need connected or am I looking at this wrong? Sorry to hijack but I am having issues with this dang switch! about to throw away in the garbage!

I picked up some Permatex thread sealer No. 2 yesterday, hopefully it will clear up the problem.

Dunhams is a sporting goods place, alot like Academy. I open the vent when I'm out on the boat but usually close it when transporting. Guess I should leave it open all the time??

I thought teflon tape was a no no since it could potentially break down and clog up the fuel system. But I am willing to try anything at this point!

I bought this tank new from Dunhams about 2 weeks ago and have problems with it since day one. The fittings just leak constantly and I figured they would have sealed up by now, but no! What can I do about this?

Im going to use Kimball self etching primer and paint on my build. I'll let you know how it works for me.

It's fully boxed, so I'll just have to drop the suspension like lckstckn2smknbrls said and put new bolts and nuts through it. Oh well, I have to completely rewire the thing so might as well strip everything down and start over.
