I have a 2021 Honda 9.9 4 stroke and it sits too low on my trailer so I need to get a support bracket. The honda manual says to use a support bracket. Any idea what support bracket would be best for this small outboard? Thanks, John

I order a Honda 9.9 with Electric Start. I know I can still pull start it, but does the motor need to be connected to a battery to pull start and run. Can you run the motor without a battery or will that damage the alternator/charging system.

So did you not find a vent screw either? I've looked at all the diagrams and parts listings. I don't see one. John

I have a 1977 Johnson 4 HP. I found the screw to put gear oil in the lower unit but I can't find a vent screw. There is a hole where you would expect the vent screw to be, but I can't tell if a vent screw goes in there or what size it would be?

I'm looking for a new motor for my 12 foot Gregor. I'm thinking of something between an 8 - 10 hp. Curious what recommendations you might have? My thoughts are the simpler the better. Thanks, John

I'm almost finished with my boat rebuild. Still need transom handles. My holes are 5.5" apart center-to-center. I drilled some as a work around but they don't look very good. John

H-23 is a good guess. It's challenging because the manufacturers can change specs over the years. My aluminum seems like it is .080.

Does the foam under the boat seats ever go bad? When redoing the seats should you replace it? Does spray boat have the same buoyancy. Thanks, John

I'm refurbishing a 1985 Gregor Semi Tee Boat and it is missing the transom handles. Contacted Gregor, no help. The distance between the mounting screws on the back of the transom is somewhere around 5.5". Does anyone know where I can find some handles that will work using the existing holes...
