    Leaking Starcraft

Anyone wants a testimonial to Alcoa gutter seal I will be happy to give it. All we did was seal the keel and we went from the auto bilge pump tripping once an hour to 2 days in the water bilge pump didn't trip once and the cup of water that came out when I pulled the plug probably came over the...

    Water Skiing Behind a Tinny . . .

I've been pulling tubes and skiers with my 18' starcraft 90hp for 20 years. Problem you run into is the amount of wear and tear on the hull. I've replaced the transom twice over the years and am dealing with leaks now.

90 HP mercury carb feed lines

The carb feed line on my motor are rotten and I'm having problems locating a replacement. It has a couple Y's and appears to be a proprietary part but I can't find it in a parts book. Could mickey-mouse one but would rather find the part. Any ideas?

    Leaking Starcraft

If it's that good I'll give it a whirl. I have a trailer with a boat slip on a lake about 175 miles from my house and I want to be able to turn my back on the boat without worrying about it.

    Leaking Starcraft

Thanks for all the help. The season here is over Sept 30 so will go with the alcoa for a temp fix and pull the floor the off season.

    Leaking Starcraft

Alcoa gutter seal? Stupid question. Do you apply inside the hull or outside? If it will work on the outside would make a great temp fix.

    Leaking Starcraft

Couple people who know their stuff suggested bunking the keel rivets and using Gluvit liberally on the inside of the hull. Anybody familiar with that stuff? Worst part is just replaced the entire floor and carpet so pulling that back up doesn't make me happy but I want to be able to leave the...

    Leaking Starcraft

I have a 1979 Starcraft Mariner 180 center console that had developed a serious leak. Last winter we stripped it down to the bare hull replaced the transom re-riveted all bad rivets dropped the hull in the water observed no leaks replaced the decking steering seats etc dropped it in the water...

*****HOW MUCH FOAM DO I NEED*****

Yesterday recovered my completely submerged(tied to dock on one side and the bow) starcraft mariner 180 after I removed the foam and discarded it while replacing the floor last winter. Shining example that foam does serve a purpose. swamped would have been a lot easier to deal with than sunk...

    Starcraft Mariner 180 parts

I am in the process of a much needed down to the bare hull overhaul of my 1979 Mariner 180. The only part I have not been able to find or make is the trim piece that covers the top of the transom between the end caps. Any ideas?
