This boat was handed down to me and now to my son. Only thing I know for sure is that it was bought used in 1953 by my great grandfather. Does any one know what brand boat this is. I have ruled out Alumacraft even though some things did look similar. Maybe a wards sea king? Or lone star? Not...
That price seems a little high to me. Also I would be weary or a 32 inch wide boat. It will be very tippy. I don't know what kind of fishing you do but putting decks in that narrow of a boat would not be a good idea.
OK so I have a Tracker with the versa track system. Its a great idea except that Tracker wants an ungodly amount for their rod holders and other accessories and they are **** near impossible to find. The rod holders are in the neighborhood of 50 bucks a piece. Well my inner redneck kicked in...
I would also look into getting float switch for your bilge. Then you can wire it to go on with the toggle switch or if something happens and you take on water then will automatically start pumping it out. It really helps if you get caught in a down pour or you launch your boat and forget to put...
Congrats on getting the lil rude running. I have an old Johnny 9.9 on my small boat and they are great little motors. As far as the alumacraft I think those are great little boats for the price. You should also take a quick look at the tracker grizzlys. I was in your shoes a few months ago and...
I wanted to put some guide posts on my trailer so that I could see it better when backing the empty trailer down the ramp. I drive a big SUV and its difficult to see the trailer at all and I didnt feel that the price that bass pro wanted to charge for a pre made set was reasonable so i made my...
It depends on the length of your transom. If you have a short transom you will need a short shaft boat. Or some type of jack plate to lift the motor up so that the anti ventilation plate is even with the bottom of your hull.
i didnt know manufactures still used open cell foam. Crap, now thats got me worried if my new tracker has open or closed cell foam.
Can anyone verify this for me. I know some of the old bass trackers had this problem but not sure of how the new ones are made.
I usually back my trailer into the water till the wheels are about 2/3 submerged. I then just drive my boat up onto the trailer. Once its lined up right i give it some gas and drive it the rest of the way up till the bow eye is up against the stop. I then hop out and crank it down. If the water...
Don't know if you have bought one or not already but I just bought a tracker grizzly for under the budget you are looking at. So far I am happy with the boat and wouldn't hesitate to buy another. I originally wanted a war eagle but it was out of my budget. I'm glad now I went with the tracker...
