Howdy, New to the jon boat game. I have a 1436 Grumman jon boat. Just bought a 55# Newport Vessels trolling motor that will be stern mounted. How deep should the prop be for maximum efficiency? Any advice is appreciated. THANKS!! Lakedawgs

Got this thing uncovered and out of the shed at our friend's house. Seems to be in really good shape. Needs tires, and some clean up. I will pull the motor and put in a barrel and work on tuning it up. Boat, trailer, 25hp Evinrude and Minn Kota trolling motor....$500. Not a bad deal I'm...
