That's a bad *** helo (and job!!) and I always thought the Orion was a cool mission! The Aardvark was definitely more 'fun' to work than the BUFF (did a little time at Carswell AFB in Ft. Worth, TX, working equipment maintenance for the B-52 load crews)...

Naw, I was a bomb loader in the early 80's on the F-111F at RAF Lakenheath, then cross trained to AGE (Aerospace Ground Equipment) when I went into the Tenn ANG (no bombs to load on a C130, lol). Being a crew chief or avionics would have definitely paid better when I got out :LOL2:

Yup, I always did fairly well with the (shorter) Culprit worms and TruTurn (sp?) hooks.

I'm not really stocking my tackle box until I can use my 'new' boat 'working' (probably 2 months, at the rate I'm going), but this thread made me look - they still make the Jitterbug and Hula Poppers!!

According to the previous owner, a tree limb fell into her and caused that. There's no apparent structural damage, to my uneducated eyes, anyway.

Thanks for the fast replies! They make sense to me. I do like the hull thickness of the green one (and my Dad had an Alumacraft 17'er, 20 years ago, that was a great/solid little fishing boat), but I agree the white one is bigger so that's probably the way I'll go.
