There are 2 outlets in back on upper part of shaft on my 1980 Johnson 35 hp. Could somebody please tell me what they are, exhaust? I just replaced inpleller, this was my old one. Those holes seem to be shooting water out, but I’m getting good flow now from the P hole.

Would somebody know the best place to purchase a Service Manual for a 1980 Johnson Seahorse 35hp? Thank you

Was out fishing The other day and noticed at idle no water coming from P whole. Just off Idle water comes out. Could idle be too low. I do have to keep it off idle a little bit keep it running. But runs fine a WOT. Water comes out strong. One more thing the exhaust vents on lower unit looks...

Thank you, I understand now, the front bench seat is lower then then center bench, just block it up to make it level with the center bench? Then I would be blocking cubby hole front storage, unless I made hatch from top.

Sorry, one more question,before I do deck should I do floor then deck over. Look better and quieter for storage when storage hatch’s are open or just leave the way it is? Thank you

Jet to, Thank you. I live in Goffstown. I was thinking about saving that second bench from the bow and building off front bench and redoing the upper deck, is this what you meant. Bought boat, trailer and motor at a auction in Penn. Boat belong to the power plant in Penn.
