How are your 2x4 deck supports attached to the boat? Are they just freely sitting on it or attached somehow? Thanks!

I am planning on taking my boat down and repainting this winter. This is probably a dumb question but I don't know the answer so whatever, are you applying the paint remover gel, letting it rest, then stripping with 3m brush? Or was the stripper only for the initial paint removal? Thanks!

Boat is primed, just doing the interior for now, and will sand/primer/paint the outside this winter I think, unless I have time this summer...

Alright I got the front bench out, and sanded the interior. I just roughed it up with 80grit sand paper and will primer it before she oxidizes. Just taking a pressure washer to the boat made a giant difference, sanding it really made me see some potential.

When using aircraft stripper, does it work more or less based on the duration it is on the surface, or should it be a quick wipe on and sand off? I was going to opt for soda blasting on my 12ft mirro-craft but it was gonna be $200-$500, way too expensive for me.

This is perfect, you did exactly that I want to do, I searched the thread and couldn't find an answer to this question though. Have you had this in the water and used the deck to fish from? Seems like it may be tipsy, basically wanna know if I should omit the deck and just level the floor...

The floor bracing looks great, very nice work. I love the documentation of the steps, I need to do this to my boat and your photos are a gigantic help!
