    Question on this steering setup.

Allright well i figured out, the hooks go behind the motor clamp arm and the block goes up against just above the motor clamp handles and it clamps the piston tube dilly there. Steers and engine flips up so much better now =)

    Question on this steering setup.

cool thanks guys i'll see what i can figure out on it. Motor mounted seems more likely because not all boats have that little transom tray I assume.

    Question on this steering setup.

Ok thanks yea I've greased it already. There are some holes in the clamps where you turn to tighten the engine to the transom but one's broken and the hook doesn't fit in the hole that's complete anyway. I've tried using google image search but haven't been able to find any pictures of that...

    Question on this steering setup.

Hello, I've had this boat for a few months now, when I bought it, the guy had the stick steer all taken off and used tiller arm. I like the stick steer better, but something doesn't seem quite right with it. I mounted it the best I could figure out how, but it seems to have a few stress...

Another tin boat owner says hello!

Whoa cool boat. Looks like an old convertible. That would look smooth with a retractable top shade.

    Choke puzzle.

So i tore down my carb on this 71 Johnson Seahorse 25 (25R71S) and I thought I had a good lookover the choke setup, and didn't have a camera handy to take any photo besides it looked set up simple enough, right? =) Anyway, I must have missed something there, I cannot seem to get this back quite...

    H'lo from Texas

Went about a few hours at Arrowhead today, wasn't too bad as long as the wind was to my back =). Seems there's a bit of binding of the throttle trying to take it past a bout 3/4 throttle, feels like it should go a bit more but just doesn't want to, I'll check in to that tomorrow at work.

Picked up this here 14' Alumacraft v-hull last week, come with a (72 I believe it is) 25hp Johnson seahorse, and a extra parts donor motor, trailer, and trolling motor. He gave me the front steering levers that came with it, I put them on because I have a nicely padded bench seat i'm going to...
