I also need some suggestions on running power to the back of my boat. Since its small and im no 100 lb teenager, I want to have my battery in the front of the boat to more evenly distribute the weight. Anyone have suggestions on what gauge wire i need to run from the front of the boat to the...
Been a while people. So the stuff I tried using to patch over some rivots on the bottom of my puddle jumper didnt pan out the way I wished last summer. I have since started to knock off that stuff and other stuff the previous owner used and really rough up around the edges of these rivots and...
Finally have both front and rear seats modified. Was able to remove all the foam inside both (at one point I had a mouse living in the front bench *see pic) and place ply wood inside the seat and make nice little storage units inside of both! :D
Also have the blige pump installed with the...
Worked on the rear bench seat last night. The foam in these things are a SOB to get out! Got the carpet from Lowes (Since my Bass Pro doesnt keep any in stock. Guy at BPS said its the same as outdoor carpet and its cheaper to hardware stores.) and I have elevator bolts through the board and...
Whats up people? Been tinkering around with some more electrical stuff on the ole boat lately. Here is what I got going on. Installed a bilge pump and was able to wire it and the stern light to some switches. Hope you enjoy!
Thanks again for the tip guys.... quick question tho when applying your JB weld. Did you have everything sanded away down to bare aluminum boat and rivot before you apllied or did you you just scruff away the paint mostly and then apply??
Thanks for the tip Trophy! I had more water than I wanted in the boat yesterday out on the lake. I need to find a solution or install a bilge pump. (Or maybe both! :D ) Water is still way too warm to get any really good fish biting these days! I did happen to land this big guy by pure chance off...
Going on a trip tomorrow a ways out of town with the boat. Needed to set up the lights so we could be on the water early and legal! Heres what we got going on! And I installed the some cup holders! Ready to be on the water! FISH ON!!
Finally was able to get the garage cleaned out enough to start putting some more time in on fixing up the ole' boat. Have a question for anyone who wants to give me there opinion.....
I am thinking of carpeting the benches on the boat and maybe a small half front platform.... Question is, how...
River.... That appears to be the one. Looks as if you have painted yours though, but the set up is pretty much what I am thinking of rigging up on mine. Thanks for the picture!
Has anyone used the Attwood Lift and Lock Anchor Control they sell at Wally World (aka Walmart)? Or does eveyone pretty much just store away all anchors until they may be needed?
