I have used that on cats, but not dogs. My dog wears a shock collar when outside. Spray bottle would be same type of strategy though. I give a calm NO for bad behavior. If it continues I give another calm NO and then low shock. If it continues it is sharp NO and high shock. Same could be used...

I also have a troy built, works alright for what I have, but if my yard was any bigger I would go with Stihl or Husqvarna.

I am right handed, and crank with the left. I do it this way because I cast with my right hand, so it doesn't make sense to me to switch the rod to my left and crank with my right, I'd rather just cast and start cranking with my left. Always done it this way.

I have found that when I drive long distance like you are going to be doing, planning the route ahead of time to include stops at points of interest, scenic views, and stuff like that helps time go by faster, and will also keep you awake. Plan your route and then schedule a stop every 4-5 hours...
