    Great idea

Didn't know where else to put this. But, if it works, it would have saved my butt on more than just wiring the boat! https://www.facebook.com/187306448744731/videos/1153865908100004/ Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk

Looking for info on floors on ribs, not decks/casting deck!!

You could go through all 95 of my posts here: https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=httpss%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eforum%2Etinboats%2Enet%2Fviewtopic%2Ephp%3Ft%3D40637&share_tid=40637&share_fid=21494&share_type=t Or, I could find this for you: bare floor before and after. Hope it helps. The "joists"...

    I love my tinnie, BUT...

#1 IS #2 after... And only added 60 lbs. to factory weight.... But, I do kinda like #3, for the wooden bits and the rod storage. Busted my hump to make #2 out of #1 and I wouldn't go overboard like that again. Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk

    I love my tinnie, BUT...

Dale, thanks! And yeah, taking care of a beauty with teak, and mahogany would be a chore... This looks like plywood siding... Prolly is. Cheap. Some old timers concoction and spar varnish might stay pretty for a bit...? Replace when too weathered. Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk

    I love my tinnie, BUT...

This was a lot of work and time. I really like the simplicity, and the addition of wood, of the second one. I'd change a couple of things (add seats)... But otherwise, a simple, clean solution... Found it on Pinterest. Comments? Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk

Bridge.... Yep, you're right... Learn by getting it out there..... AK.... Thanks... I copied the newest version of mirrocraft's 14 footer.... Only thing I would change is to move the aft seat back 4-6"... Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk

    A couple of questions

I mounted my fish finder on a flag pole holder, to bring it to eye level... It doesn't articulate like the $100+ kind, but works for me. Flag holder about $10, dowel about $5, plumbing fittings about $10. Adjustable angle any time, length customizable. Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk

Okay, two fishing trips.... each time fish were caught and released. Nothing worth keeping. Lost the anchor on the first fishing trip.... Here's what happened. Brought the anchor up into the anchor winch and bloop! Thar she went. Rats! Looked like it tore the anchor off of the anchor rope. So...

Where to mount depth finder/fish locator on tiller boat?

I got a flag pole holder. The kind that mounts a flag pole to the house. They're aluminum. I then got a 1" dowel and inserted it into the rod holder, covered it with 1" ID pvc pipe. I can keep the sonar in view while piloting the tiller steer motor. You can make any length you want, any angles...

One pic shows the valving for the live well, it fills and drains from the same inlet. Overflows out port side. Fill switch is three way... On, off, timed... It doesn't drain while full, but aerates through spray bar at top of well... Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk

I love the remote controlled Trac anchor winch, it works great! I'm going to add a disconnect to the searchlight, so I don't have to bring it when not planning night fishing. There is a plug in for underwater lights in front of the Battery bay. Now, if they'd get the rain out of the forecast, I...

    1966 MirroCraft 3614 Project

If you go back to the beginning, you'll see I was able to meet the goal... With a few tweaks. Batteries (2) had to be exposed, opposite the live well. I built an extension rod for the fish finder from a flag holder, a 1" dowel (inside 1"pvc), a pvc 45°, a 1x1/2 pvc x flip bushing, a 1/2" iron...
