Sorry that I couldn't help with newer models, variable speed sounds like a nice feature.

Can't address the latest models but I have a two year old Endura 45 and it was simple. Take off the nut, pull out the skinny bolt, rotate head 180 degrees, re-instll bolt.

Perhaps you are aware that you can work that formula backwards. If one were to do that on your boat using 35 mph, your boat woudl weigh 229 lbs in the aggergate. I am jealous that you could build that nice rig and have it, you, motor, gas, decking and everything weigh that little. Good job.

Hull factor on most of the boats that us fishermen use would be 172 or lower.
