I'm in the market for another Jon for a build but want a smooth bottomed boat to eventually turn into a jet jon... Anybody have suggestions on any? I need it to slide over rocks and such.. everything I have tried up to this point seems to share a common denominator on what makes it grab rocks...

Im attempting to build a jet jon and wanted to know if anyone has any experience with running this type of water in one. Its pretty brutal stuff that as far as I know only sees canoes and kayaks.. I have tried just about everything known up to this point from mud motors with rock guards welded...

This may have already been asked but has anybody else noticed a complete absence of new aluminum boats under 15ft for sale? I buy all mine used anyway and usually go through a couple a year fixing up and flipping but recently wanted to build a new project boat and figured what the heck... lets...
