Done for Spring!! before and afters

Thanks for the compliments guys, the decking for the front casting deck is 1/2 exterior ply with primer and 3 coats of enamel. I added vinyl nonslip strips for grip. The center deck area is also primed and painted, the blue that you see is a product like dri deck but half the cost. Its made of...

    Stainless steel screws

When I first got my boat the only bolts that were still intact were stainless steel. There was no reaction from the ss bolts either. I ended up spending well over 100 dollars on just stainless bolts for my rebuild and I am glad I did.

Done for Spring!! before and afters

can't wait to get her out, I rebuilt the engine over the winter (blew head gasket). Its been raining here (Philadelphia suburbs) so much that I havent been able to get out. Only advice is that you make sure the paint is cured before pinstriping, some enamels take 4-6 weeks, good luck, post pics

Thanks, That is 4 inch pvc. It is my anchor holder. The hole goes below the casting deck, I designed it so the anchor rope all gets stored below out of the way

    1969 Mirro Craft 14' V-Hull INFO PLEASE!!

I wouldnt go any higher than the bench seats on your boat. I have a 1972 mirrocraft 14 ft. but it is 60 inches wide. I decked to the bench level and they are good. I would also leave those brackets in, they actually help support the side walls. good luck

Dyeguy's 1648 Mod- Pics Update... DONE

Looking real good, seems like your on a good pace to finish for spring fishing, I know I worked overtime on mine to get her ready, a few nice days (forced me) to take her out and fish, Im worried that when the weather is warm enough to paint her I won't want to take her out of commision.

Here is a better picture of the stripes. It is 2 inch embossed grip tape I got from https://www.safetydirectamerica.com/15.html. I got it instead of sandpaper grip tape because it can be cleaned and is less abrasive.

14 ft Mirro Deep fisherman redo

Its been a month since I last posted. I have got a lot done. I was able to paint everything but the interior and exterior aluminum. Anything that could be removed and painted was. I also got to add a stainless steel handrail cut from a pool ladder. It turned out awesome and really makes you...

14 ft Mirro Deep fisherman redo

I varnished all the wood support 2x3s and primed and painted the casting decks, floor panels and bench tops. What is the best way for me to attach the painted ply wood to the removable supports? At first I was going to use stainless bolts, but then I thought I could just use deck sealant to...
