i hadn't ran my boat in about 2 months. i took it out the other night and it was really slow to accelerate and also didn't want to plane. once i got to top speed the boat still felt slow. after running it down the river for a few minutes it started bumping or jolting. the motor would have...
Can I glue the transducer to the inside bottom of an aluminum boat? I've herd of this being done on kayaks and glass boats but can't find anything on aluminum boats.
Almost complete. Replaced the motor with a 1993 evinrude 60hp and bought some new seats from AK Mccullums in Fayetteville NC. Also installed a GoLight /remote spotlight to the bow of the boat. The light is amazing and would definitely recommend to any night fishermen.
Figured it out. I had a damaged fuel line. Attwood has some fuel lines with a plastic shield on the inside and when pushed on to a fuel line connector the plastic crunches up and blocks the fuel. Watch out for these lines the plastic inner shield was also brittle and pieces of it would flake...

I've been working on this motor for a while and it seems to be problem after problem. Typical for force motor. I replaced the plugs and the ignition coils the motor starts right up idols great and run smoothly at low speeds. Problem is when I run the motor up at higher speeds I lose power. I...
nowgrn 4 that is an awesome idea. sounds a little like carp fishing bite alarms. I already have a twitch reflex for the clip on bells. it would probably mess me up pretty bad if I started using a door bell not to mention my dog hates the door bell and sometimes he goes fishing with me. lol.
the tubes facing forward are for baiting or additional fishing. the metal holders facing backwards are designed for river fishing. All facing down river.
im looking for some rod holder inventions. I mostly fish for catfish on the Cape Fear River in North Carolina. im incredibly cheap and I don't really want to spend a bunch of money on expensive brand names. I don't go fishing to show off my boat. mostly looking for homemade / DIY stuff wood...
