Night fishing for the Big ones

Last Sunday Night (Labor Day) was a little slow Still managed a 8Lb channel

I never go solo at night, things can go bad real fast.

Night fishing isn't bad on the weekends where i fish, at 3am I am the only boat on the lake

I fish night most every weekend in July and August, the bite starts around 10pm and stops around 2am.

I have a Johnson Evinrude 2-35 hp clymer manual that came with a boat I bought. It tells me everything that I don't need to know. I get more help from YouTube, and take pictures of stuff when i take things apart.

First of all, the paint looks great! Thats a good color for a fishing boat. As far as the ants, I get them in my mail box every few years. What works for me is Raid ant and roach killer. You will have to spray into the seats though, maybe pull back the fabric to do that.

And I thought this this thread was about floatation foam, not asumptions on how the Guy got into this situation.

I would not recommend taking out the middle seat, it will make the hull flimsey, and IMO make the boat worth a lot less.

I agree, people think that vinegar is a cure all that is great for everything including losing weight, I call hogwash, but it does make a good weed killer.

In this situation, I would use 1/4-20 ss button head cap screws instead of rivets If you are worried about corrosion just use some plastic or rubber washers

Get off ALL of the old paint, use a self etching primer. Spray the new paint and use hardner additive
