Aside from the small piece of 1/2" plywood that is easily seen on the center of the transom covered in thin aluminum sheet, does anyone know if the larger portion of the transom has a wood core ? I can't see anything due to it being made/covered with aluminum. It almost feels/sounds like a hard...

I applied the first of three final paint finishes to my front bow assembly. I will block sand it tomarrow and do coat #2. The color is khaki tan.

Here is a pic of my front bench seat assembly. I just put the final coat of epoxy resin on it. Next comes sanding and final paint finishing. The small pieces on the ends are to supply a sturdy base to mount my Driftmaster rod holders.

I am not painting my boat. I am painting my marine plywood decking. The specs look good on it. It is UV resistant, waterproof, dries to a non-slip satin finish. It is made as a deck & porch paint so it should be very durable. I'm gonna' try it and see how it go's.

Anybody noticed a product made by BEHR paints at Home Depot called "Deck Over" ? This looks like it may be a great deck cover paint for a boat.
