    60’s crestliner?

    Almost done rehabbing this 12’ boat, transom plate has the serial number as “ m 6712” I get the feeling this may be the year and hull size, anyone know? Need to advertise for sale soon, thanks.

    I suppose I could stuff a piece of engineered wood in there, maybe I’ll try rivets.

    Installing depth finder

    I did one inside the hull with a hot glue gun that worked, just make sure to start with a big pile of hot glue and press any bubbles out.

    Seat bracket

    Does anyone know of a source for this type of bench seat bracket? I was cleaning this up with a wire wheel on the drill and I dropped it, it closed up some so I opened it back up, looks like it may not hold long term. Came off a ‘67’ 12 crestliner in the process of refurb.

    Screw holes for corner braces

    Got side tracked working on the outboard, the screws go into a tubular cap rail, so I don’t have access to put nut on the back. I will have to try the next size up I guess.

    So, I’m in the process of restoring a 67 12’ crestliner utility and a johnson 3hp of the same year. Does anyone have an easy but reliable fix for some loose screws on the bow and corner braces?
