    Thanks. I will never have it in salt so I think that is the directtion that I will go. Seems like a pretty good deal since the wires are together and can be pulled behind the side ribs. Attach new loop ends and hook it up. Heres the link if anyone else wants to try this...

    My question is when running wire for a bow mount trolling motor, is ANY 6 ga. wire suitable for this? I have looked at tinned wire and it is expensive for enough to run 18'. I have found a set of jumper cables that are 6 ga, 18 ' for $19.99. This is 1/3 of tinned cost. :?:
