14 ft Mirro Deep fisherman redo

Nice job so far. Just a suggestion though, white decks will get really bright on those bluebird days. It could become pretty blinding.

    trailer tail lights

LED lights are the way to go imo. If you haven't opened them yet, I would return them. Having trailer lights on in the water at night makes it a little easier to put it back on.

    1436 Jon project kinda done

No Way, I say you went out and bought a brand new boat. :D Just Kidding. That came out great. That came out awesome.

    Jon boat to bass boat

Nice. If I may ask another question about the stick steering, do you move it side to side to go left or right, or is it a push pull motion? How responsive is it? It has got me interested. Thanks for sharing.

help w/ charging and wiring questions

If you have room for 4 batteries, then I say go for it! 2 AGM's for the 24V system, one AGM for electronics, lights, and whatever other 12V accessories and one AGM for the motor. That's a lot of juice. Sweet. Downside is that you will need a 4 bank charger, which means more cost. :( For...

Post a Pic of your boat!

I wish, it was my favorite kind of fishing to do. :D But I am on the other coast now, so the skiff sees a lot of use in the mountain lakes, as well as Southern Cal. lakes and bays. Sure do miss those blackfish. If I had a boat back when I was there, those Long Island Sound Togs would be...

Post a Pic of your boat!

Hello, I'm relatively new here and really enjoy the forum. My boat isn't a tin boat but my mods are very similar to what you guys have done. Elevated casting deck and battery compartment in the bow storage area. 1971 Kennedy Kraft 14' with 18HP Tohatsu 4 Stroke, and 40lb MK TM

    redneck Ingenuity

Just a suggestion, but if you centered the load it would be easier to move around. Push it, pull it kind of like a boat trailer.

    Attaching a console down

I would fasten down the back of the console as well. You got the front fastened down so half the job is done. Lock nuts and washers wouldn't be a bad idea either.

    Epoxy Resins

Hello, first post as I was looking for info on trolling motors. But since I have a fiberglass boat, all of my mods have been done with plywood, epoxy (not polyester) and fiberglass, very few screws. IMHO epoxy, while a bit more expensive is the best way to waterproof the wood. It does soak...
