It's the length of the item. By the time it's packaged correctly to prevent damage you're looking at least at a 8 1/2 tube or box. When you get into long lengths there are additional charges from the shipping companies (UPS & Fed Ex) which will be passed on to you.

With a new front deck panel fabbed and covered it is obvious how much room was underneath. Now to fab a deck extension/storage area.

If you have scraps of Nautolex left try different solvents on them before you try cleaning the stain. I installed Nautolex on my boat and used lacquer thinner to remove a glue drip or two but it was still fresh at the time.
