I did try some new plugs, but there is a chance they could be the wrong ones (that is a whole other parts buying story involving a mouth breather who had trouble reading a computer screen). I did get the flywheel off, noticed the key was the same shape as the crank... so I will have to replace...

Thats a tough one that only you can really decide. I have had my 14' tinboat out in the Chesapeake bay before. We had no wind, and the ocean looked like a lake. Putzed around for a few hours and then the wind started to pick up out of the NW... and the water started bumping up a tad...

I just replaced points and condensers on my 15 hp tiller motor a few weeks ago. Like you guys said, puller and go. Once the flywheel was off it isnt bad.

They are brand new coils installed, I replaced a frayed wire and I dont think I am getting any spark still. I guess I should look at points next?

Is there a way to hook up a dash mounted fuel gauge on a plastic portable tank? How could I ground the sender? Should I worry about electrical around gas fumes?

Thanks for the info. How much juice do nav lights use? I think I will wire up 2 24's in parallel. Anyone seeing any issues if I wired up a 12V LED and use the cover for my bow light making it an LED bow light? Same theory with the anchor light?

Yeah, I think I will go ahead and pick up a 27 battery... can you wire 2 different group sized batteries together in parallel? Anyone know how long a radio lasts on a deep cycle?
