    Fuel tank question

I bought a 6 hp 1966 Johnson outboard. I have an old 50s pressurized tank from my other motor that died. Chose to buy this motor and fix my other one later. Can I convert the double hose press tank to work w my single hose outboard? Thanks

    Frays in both coil wires

Borrowed compression gauge today. Nothing registering!! I pull cord and can feel little air out of port. Funny because I looked at a running motor last night and similar air coming out of the port. Buy a head gasket I take it?

    Frays in both coil wires

Did some investigating with the cylinders. The bottom cylinder looks like there is grayish milky sludge in there. They move freely when pulling cord. Is this where head gasket is? I will post pic tomorrow of ignition plate. Very frustrated.

Ok I did overheat earlier last year. I sucked up some sand and a pebble was caught in the port. Ran fine for a few weekends then died like I said. Wondering if coils are bad now.
