Heard a story about some guys that would rent 6hp fishing boats but as soon as the left the marine they would put two motors on one boat for some fun. I just scored a second motor and got it running so now I have two. How am I supposed to drive this thing. Rated for 25hp so I'm itching to try.

Is this jet even worth considering? It's a 20hp which is just like the 18hp's that they built for years. What size boat will it push? Will it plane a 14 footer? Can you even get parts like impellers for old jets?

I'm resurrecting a 1976 (15604r) 15hp Evinrude that sat for 9 years. New pull rope, water pump, upper cylinder coil and clean carb. It starts and runs good for two minutes and then dies. Primer stays hard and pumping it does not help. I'm running it off of a known clean tank and hose. Thinking...

I'm installing a built in 15 gallon tank to replace a portable 6 gallon tank. The only thru hull vents I find are 5/8". That's way to big for the small volume and consumption rate I need. I'd like to run 3/8" hose to a small thru hull but all I see are large ones. Any suggestions?
