Need help. The motor will not go beyond 4,600 rpm. Gradual decline in rpm out put over four week period from 5,500 to 4,600 rpm. Dealer found no codes. replaced plugs, impeller with new wear ring, fuel filters ect . 1k spent still have same problem. Called Mercury no help whatsoever...

My 2915 40 h0 mercury jet runs fine to 4000 rpm any thing over that results in no forward progress. The tac goes to 6,000 rpm and the boat stops moving. Go back to 4,000 rpms or lower the boat has thrust again. help
