Thanks! I used Brillo pads to clean the aluminum... I cleaned a small area at a time, and made sure to rinse the aluminum off to get the tiny metal fibers from the Brillo pads off... Then used a stainless steel pad to go back over it. It took a lot of elbow grease!... It looks better than the...

14ft aluminium boat safe to fish coastal saltwater and bays?

You just need to make sure to order the right size for the tubing to fit in... Amazon & eTrailer has a lot of different sizes. I've made a lot of those in my shop, and most are for 3"x3". Yeah, you can move it around by hand, but a little uphill may be harder... They sell a trailer dolly to...

Trailer looks good!... You done a great job on it! A 55 gal' plastic drum would work too... I've seen guys make fenders out of them to cover the front tires on tractors. Take a hammer and hit near the end of it.

Yeah, or you can buy the kit to make your trailer tongue fold... I've made a lot of these. https://www.amazon.com/Fulton-HDPB330101-Fold-Away-Bolt-On-Trailer/dp/B001F0IE7A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418845945&sr=8-1&keywords=folding+trailer+tongue

'' If '' the transom does have rot, he needs to get the old wood out of there!... The wet/rot wood can cause corrosion to the transom sheet and the aluminum becomes thinner. Replace it either with wood or with aluminum like you said!

The seller said the motor is brand new!... Yeah, this is a great price on the whole package! I just noticed that the trailer is too short, But it would be a easy fix with some new metal!

    Homemade Lighted Guide Posts

Thanks! They're just round clearance lights... I bought them at a local place that sells trailer parts, but Tractor Supply also has them... I paid $3.09 a piece for these. Also, if you plan to make a set, don't use LED... They won't light up as bright since they're mounted on top.
