So After a thorough cleaning I decided to be impatient and not order a new kit. Bad idea. The carb needed a rebuild anyways. So I ordered a kit and installed and now I'm still having a hard start! Fuel filter is clean. Carb is getting fuel. Fuel lines are crappy! One thing after another! Good...

    A-hole brother in-law!

It's right on the corner. Hard to get to as there is a seat that runs down the gunnel on noth sides after the last seat. I have been debating cutting latches In them anyways to Make some storage space and update foam flotation. There is a Pic of the layout.

    A-hole brother in-law!

Hey everyone I have a question. My awesome brother in-law decided to cut down a tree near my tin and hit the corner of the floor and gunnel with the saw and put a hole in it. So my question is is; bondo or epoxy fix, what is better? I know an aluminum welder would be best but I can't afford it...

Gave the cooler idea a test run and decided to junk it. It's just another obstacle in the way when moving around. It would be okay for ice fishing though! I decided im going to make a console bar on the port side of the boat and put my screen on a rotating base i have from an old finder set...

I picked up a new fuel tank line and that made no difference. I checked the filter and lines and all was well. Turns out the float needle was sticking. Cleaned the carb and she is good to go!

Here is the holes i drilled for cables. They both are unsealed to allow extension and retraction of cables as needed.

Alright. I did it! Quick and easy! I took a cooler that up to two batteries fits in, drilled a few holes for wiring. Made the mount base for the display bigger and wired everything up! Took maybe 15 minutes so far. I'm going to make a clamp on style mount for the transducer to?have the option to...

I think I'm gonna go with a portable set up. Something I can take battery, FF unit, and possibly a battery charger/maintainer in. I have a few different options I am going to play around with and will post the pics of the design I go with tomorrow and how I set it all up.

Having two is a little higher then my budget would allow. I'm lucky to have what I got to be honest! I currently have a small 14' tiller. No real long runs to get to my destinations for the most part and im usually in the back more when other are with me but can move around more when alone. I...

Looking to get opinions on people's finder locations. Front or back? Pros and cons? I just got a setup and am not so sure where id like it. I don't do much slow trolling around open water but would like to. I mostly bass fish and only move from spot to spot.

    Motor too big?!

With any luck I'll have a raiser all made up by spring. Right now I'm cleaning her up and getting ready to survive with winter around here. I've got a few ideas on what I want to do to make my own. Pretty excited to get into it.

    Best of both worlds

I was looking at similar models. My next purchase is also many many years away. In my opinion it has to be able to be enjoyed by all in a family, you can't go wrong with being outside and teaching little ones how to enjoy that lifestyle. I asked about possibilities because i didn't want to put...

    Best of both worlds

In theory when I get a new boat, I'll go with the biggest engine option offered and will more then likely go mod-v.

    Best of both worlds

That's kind of what I figured, deciding what space to give up can be tough. I definitely have more tackle then anything else and figure I can always keep the rods locked in the truck until I'm ready and do the same with tubes and skis. My 14' has a whopping 35 on it so I bet that'll scoot a...

    Hulling Paint: Cosmetic or Protective?

I would go with mostly cosmetic. You may be sealing a few small holes or potential holes but it can wear easy with beaching your boat. Also interior hull paint Will do the same. If you use a rubberized coating like truck bed liner that will do better with protecting but I wouldn't use it on the...

I believe i can hear air. The primer bulb and tank lines are Very dry rotted. I'm going to start there and some new fittings. The one for the engine does not clip on well, the release lever disengages the lock on its own. I'm hoping it will he that simple, but I'm going yo work my way from there...
