    found tube in head

    i found a small rubber tube just behind the theromstat on my force 50 horse motor. It is pretty much crushed and i cant figure out what it is suppossed to do. There is raised bars that look llike it holds the tube in place.

    motor clicking when try to start

    i tried to jump start my motor and now it makes a clicking noise when i turn over the key. i replaced the solinoid with a used one and it seems to be bad also.

    I have a 50 horsepower force outboard motor on my boat and im having trouble getting the trottle and shift cables adjusted properly. On my motor it has a linkage on the outside of the motor that goes to the foot of the motor is that where the shift adjustment is made? thanks

    shifting problems

    Hello to everyone im new to this site. I have a 89 50 horsepower force outboard and i have alot of play when i shift into forward or reverse. The shift cables that came with the motor are a few feet to long and im not sure if that matters or not. Thanks Ken
