Looking good! Is the Eye bolts in the transom mounted like you have them from the factory? I have my eye on 16' Starcraft SS right now and was thinking about doing away with the splash well(If I buy it of course). Your build is exactly how I was thinking of doing the transom.

The one thing you did that I really like is, you use fiberglass resin instead of the spar varnish. Not that spar varnish doesn't work, just always thought the resin may last a little longer than the varnish. Great job! Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Looks good! I'm sure you will get the seats and heights adjusted to fit you. You will make a few changes/adjustments along the entire life of the boat.
