Any one close to Terrell TX know of a decently priced charter, or have a boat, that wants to take 2 PA boys out on a gar fishing or bowfishing trip? We're in town till the 19th.

How to cut deck for drop-in hatch

Is this what Dawson told you? Were you planning to rivet them in, or weld them in? I'm trying to do the same, with the same manufacturer of boat.

    Intake spray

I'm thinking a splash plate is the way to go. I did reach out to Rockproof, they suggested reshaping it/ rounding the edges, which helps a little. Thanks for your advice!

    Intake spray

How much further did you have to go?

    Intake spray

I was afraid, that that's the answer. I'm maxed out on motor height without drilling more holes in the transom. I have heard you can shape them with a woodworking plane, for a more hydrodynamic-friendly, shape

Front deck on aluminum jon host enough to fry eggs on.

I have the same problem on mine (jonboat green). I'm hoping the Parkers Sand tan paint will cool it down enough for bare feet

Questions about motorguide xi5 pinpoint operations

    1. NEMA 2000 and Motorguide gateway 2. Mine is not hooked up to a graph, but from what I can see from research, you can store tracks (can store up to 8 without fishfinder). The remote you speak of comes standard with pinpoint, other is for WITHOUT pinpoint

    OB Jets on 1448's?

jd4x: Your boat sounds a lot like mine: same motor, same hull length, same weight distribution with console up front. Mine should be too heavy forward but due to having the batteries, gas and heavy motor in the rear it works really well. You are correct about importance of weight...
